Abacus Deltron / Trident / Abacus Embedded

Position: Product Manager /Field Sales Engineer Belgium

Objective of role:
The development and support of the customer base from Trident, Abacus Embedded and Abacus Deltron in Belgium.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Identify new customers for Microsoft Embedded products, RMS and close development kit sale
• Cross sell Abacus Deltron / Trident hardware into new and existing accounts where appropriate.
• Project management and develop a list of Target accounts
• Visit engineering decision makers within the customer base
• Joint visit / liase with Trident and Abacus Deltron FAE's and PM’s

Other responsibilities:
• Attend and/or drive / setup attendance to training, seminars and exhibitions
• Develop embedded database to capture all embedded opportunities
• Drive design activities
• Responsible for achieving sales targets in Belgium and Luxembourg

Employee Specification:
Based at the Benelux office working from his home office located between Antwerp and Brussels. The successful candidate will ideally have a technical degree and working knowledge of modern business software. At least 3 to 5 years experience in a customer-facing role within a B to B sales environment (ideally distribution) is required. This position requires an individual who is confident at dealing with customers and suppliers at a senior level.
This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work as part of team with excellent communication and creativity skills. The international character of the position requires the knowledge of multiple languages such Dutch, French and English in speech and writing. The position will appeal to a technical / sales competent individual who is motivated to grow a business.
A certain amount of travelling is required, so a driving license is essential.
